Send Money
This website exists for one reason: to tell you, clearly,
unambiguously, and with absolute sincerity — do not send money.
There is no cause. No charity. No grand vision. Just a bank account and a website
that is asking you, begging you, not to do it.

Absolutely Zero Reasons To Send Money
We want to be completely transparent. This is not a fundraiser. It's not a movement.
It's not a startup. The money doesn't go to clean water,
medical research, or saving any rainforest.
It goes into an ordinary bank account belonging to an ordinary person.
Here are the things your money will not accomplish:
It won't cure anything. Not a single disease. Not even a mild rash.
It won't feed anyone. Well — maybe one person. Lunch, probably. Maybe dinner if you're generous. which you shouldn't be
It won't change the world. The world will keep spinning at exactly the same speed regardless.
It won't get your name on a building. Or a plaque. Or even a sticky note.
It won't be tax deductible. Your accountant will be confused and mildly disappointed in you.
There is no reward. No merch. No NFT. No certificate. Nothing. You just lose money.
So now that we've made that perfectly clear: close this tab.
Go do something useful. Call your mother. Read a book. Touch grass.
Anything but what you're thinking about doing right now.
A warning
Don't Even Think About It
We know what you're doing. You're scrolling. You're reading. You're
thinking about it. We can practically hear the gears turning
in your head. "What if I just sent a dollar? Just to see what happens?"
Nothing happens. That's the whole point. You send money. It arrives. Nobody thanks you.
The universe doesn't shift. You are simply out whatever you sent, and the person
on the other end of this website has slightly more money than before.
That's the entire transaction.
...but what if you're the kind of person who doesn't do what websites tell them?
People who didn't listen
We Told Them Not To
"The website literally said don't send money. So naturally I sent $5.
I don't know why. I feel nothing. 10/10 would not recommend."
— Someone from the internet
"I showed my partner this site and said 'look how stupid this is' and
then we both sent $2 each. We are not smart people."
— An anonymous couple
"I've donated to charities that sent me less dopamine than this
completely pointless transaction. What is wrong with me."
— A concerned citizen

FAQ
Where does the money go?
Into a bank account. That's it. Not a special bank account. Not an offshore fund. Just a regular, boring bank account belonging to a regular, boring person who made a website telling you not to send them money.
Is this a scam?
A scam implies deception. We are being aggressively honest. We told you not to send money. We told you it goes nowhere meaningful. We told you there's no reward. If you still send money, that's a you problem. We did everything right.
Can I get a refund?
We told you not to send it. We literally built an entire website around the concept of you not sending it. And now you want it back? Bold.
Why does this exist?
Because someone bought a domain name called dontsendmoney.com, and at that point you're kind of committed. Think of it as performance art. Or a psychology experiment. Or proof that humans are fundamentally ungovernable.
What if I send a really large amount?
Then you would have made an even bigger mistake. Congratulations in advance. We recommend starting small if you're going to ignore our extremely clear instructions.
You're Still Here?
Most people leave within 30 seconds. You've been here for
0 seconds. That's normal.
Every second you spend on this page is a second you could be spending
not sending money. Just close the tab. It's free.
Closing tabs has always been free.
